Graduate Nurse Program

Beechworth Health Service (BHS) is a small rural hospital located in the Northeast of Victoria, close to the snow fields, wineries, and an easy commute to Melbourne.

The hospital provides a range of Acute, Sub- acute, Residential Aged Care, Primary Health and Community Home Based Services. There is also an Urgent Care Centre attached to the Acute-Subacute unit.

BHS Health Graduate Nursing Program provides the opportunity for candidates to explore diverse learning experiences in small rural healthcare settings.

We offer a wide range of professional development opportunities to prepare new graduates for the workforce. The graduate nursing program runs for 12 months and includes clinical rotations in:-

  • Acute-Sub Acute
  • Residential Aged Care
  • Potential District Nursing Rotation

BHS offers 2 Registered Nurse graduate nurse positions per year, with an annual intake in February each year.

BHS also supports EEN graduate applications. The Enrolled Nurse Graduate program is advertised via the BHS website.
