Local Partners Connecting Carers

Beechworth Health Service in partnership Chiltern Neighbourhood House, Quercus Beechworth, Yackandandah Community Centre, Indigo Shire Council & Indigo North Health are connecting carers through 2 innovative co-design projects across Indigo:

  • Connecting Carers in Indigo Project (completed)
  • Continued Connections: Indigo (in progress)

Funded by Carers Victoria, the projects have used co-design to identify, understand and develop an approach to support their needs and reduce social isolation. Carer voice has been the key element for success and the outcomes lead to continued support and engagement for carers in the Indigo Shire.
