As restrictions ease and tourism resumes, local services are working together to encourage businesses, tourist venues and community members to play key role in keeping our community COVID-safe.
Beechworth Health Service, Indigo Shire Council, Beechworth Surgery and Beechworth Pharmacy have worked together to develop a poster that can be displayed in key venues across the town as a reminder to visitors of community expectations around COVID safe practices.
Mark Ashcroft, Beechworth Health Service CEO expects the poster to be a timely reminder as we head into the summer months
“The Beechworth and surrounding community and businesses have done a great job over 2020 to keep our community COVID free and reduce the risk of spread. We want to keep this momentum up over the summer tourism season.” Mr Ashcroft said.
“The poster can be downloaded from the Beechworth Health Service website or accessed via Indigo Shire Council. All local businesses and venues are welcome to use the poster or social media image as a friendly reminder that we all need to stay vigilant.”
