Food & Domestic Assistants

Permanent Part Time - 0.70 EFT contract

To effectively and efficiently provide the safe preparation of food and cleaning tasks that are of a high standard for all residents, visitors, clients and staff at BHS whilst at all times ensuring that safe work practices are strictly adhered to.

  • Evidence of ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision and commitment to work as part of a team
  • Evidence of interpersonal skills, with a friendly manner when dealing with residents, patients, clients, staff & community members
  • Genuine desire to work in the hospitality service and perform cleaning duties within a health service environment
  • Evidence of good personal hygiene standards and understanding of BHS infection control policies and procedures
  • Evidence of willingness to work weekends and variable shifts as required
  • Evidence of contribution to build a positive team culture
  • Excellent work ethic and time management skills
