Residential Experience Survey 2018 standard

We would appreciate if you could please take the time to complete our 2018 Resident Experience Survey with, or on behalf of your loved one who is a resident with Beechworth Health Service. To ensure continued improvements, this anonymous information is analysed and reported to the relevant committees. Visit from Sharon Knight MP Parliament Secretary Human Services standard

Beechworth turned the weather on for the visit from Sharon Knight today at BHS to officially recognise and inspect the progress of the Beechworth Health Service, Significant Aged Care Refurbishment Project underway at present. The refurbishment includes the conversion of 12 shared bathrooms to 24 ensuite bathrooms This will improve available amenities for the residents at the health service. Supporting our local community through the marriage equality debate standard

BHS lead the growth of Female Board Directors standard

Beechworth Health Service are leading  the growth of female Board Directors with 7 of 11 Directors being female. Women now make up 54 per cent of all public hospital and health service board members, and regional areas match that ratio, increasing from 43 per cent in 2015.  The Board Mail featured an article with 4 of our Board Directors (Katie Warner; Isabel Paton; Jenny Gordon and Patricia Mom).
